Oh yeah... to those magic 5 tht i hve chosen... haha... you guys hve to scroll to the next post... and one golden rule... YOU DUN PASS IT BACK TO ME.. yeah... haha
For today... WASBE officially starts!...Day began at 730... at SRJC... and we began moving everything down... ( no more percussion instruments le... yeah... ).. do final checks... and we left the college at 8...
AND...
Only arrived at 910... late... at NTU NIE... and we were considered late... AND I SAW CHARIS! ( sorry sp... dun know how to pronouce )... yeah... got someone in Smith with me other than those from my college... yeah... have to sit there listen to this Dr Eugene guy's speech abt band music in life i guess... nice actually... but i was more preoccupied with the schedule and the predicament i m abt to live...
Moved to the Rehearsal venue... and made frens with the Icebreakers... haha... it was fun... really... then it was lunch... a little gathering of SRs... haha... then it was the real thing... the real rehearsal...
Mr Tay was first... He began with a nice speech abt himself... and a few ppl he taught... mentioned Nikki and Tonghow... haha... and then American Elegy and In a Persian Market... I DUN SOUND AIRY! yeah... i sound so nice in American Elegy... really i think i do... or at least i think Mr Lim ( second conductor) agrees... he was nodding... maybe not to me... sigh... haha...
Persian Market was nice... but then the small notes... gosh... it was terrible... hve to sort out tomolo...
Mr Tay just did Persian Market today... and some bits of American Elegy... haha... and Mr Lim took over...
Unlike the humour Mr Tay used in his rehearsal... Mr Lim was very very strict... and gosh... he keeps looking in my direction... tht means i must be playing rather badly... die die die... tomolo sectionals he will confirm kill me... ( btw... he is in charge of my sectionals too! )
He went through his Emperata Overture, Howl's Moving Castle and Amparito Roca... i think i sound terrible for Emperata... really... i was so so so so nervous... he la... like so pressurizing... die... confirm die one...
Wad a tough day... i can die... after tht more than 1 hr 30 mins bus ride home.. ( gosh i shld hve taken the MRT ) tomorrow can die ... shit die die die... ARUGH!
