Today was the Last Day of Orientation... well... *sniff* all good things must come to an end...
-- Morning 730-800
It began a very wet and cold day... college started at like... 735... after anthem all tht... we went to the hall...
Had a subject talk by the HOD of Student Development ( SRJC's reimproved Discipline Committee) He just kept talking abt the time table we had... ( a very interesting one though... we get to get lectures of different subs... so we can make our sub combi next tues)
Then... it was 815 there... then we went on with the cheer thingys....
Then... it was some break... then... there was the fun!!
Station 1... On the bench ( i call it)
This is really fun... there is only 2 benches... and... 20 ppl is to stand on the bench... the thing is... space is cramp... then... the game ic... is supposed to call for something... like... rearrangement from height... shortest front... then... we must rearrange ourselves... WITHOUT getting off the bench... and this was funny... cos i was infront... and behind me... was near 6 girls... cos i was at the end... i was like... nearly tripping and all tht and they were holding on and forcing me in... felt funny... i never had girls holding my hands... and someone behind asking whether she could put her hands on my shoulders... ( odd i tell you...) esp when i had to move back... they said tht i must be hving a good time?
Station 2... Vert Hori Squares ( i called it)
Another fun game... we had to like... ONLY select 2 ppl... and our opposing team..( yes... i forgot to mention tht since we had 40 groups... we had to compete each other) and 2 from their side... then... the 4 had to stand on one of the near 25 squares on the fall... going clockwise... a player goes '1,2,3' and they can choose to either jump or stay in their spot... and tht player... is the killer for tht round... as... if he/she jumps and an opposing player is vertically or horizontally to he/she... tht opposing player dies... and is off the game... and the game is over when one side's players are both eliminated..
Station 3... Water Mime
We had to first... fill packets of water as a race... tht means.. empty packet, you run to pail fill packet... run back and forth... and... ppl tie it up... then... you get one team member to be blindfolded... and... you set the water packets within a designated area... after tht... your blindfolded player... goes to the opposing player's field... to step... your goal.. to get tht blind person... to step on every bomb... the thing is... we had to scream the instructions.. and our blinded girl... was so misled until she actually walked out of the field... haha
Station 4: Captain Ball

Station 5 : ABC Land...
there are like 21 X 2 seats... one set of 21 seats with... A-T and the other from 1-21 ... there are two balls... so... one is to pass within the no. and the other within the letters... teams choose either nos. or letters.. cool... passing i like...
Station 6: Scissors Paper Stone...
A very very very wet butt game... there are 10 chairs in a line... and on the chairs... there is corn starch mixed with water... Team members are to form a line... and... move along the chairs to get to the other side... and the other move too... so... it is like... one move from east to west... and the other west to east... you get to the other side... you get 1 pt for the team... and if you bump into a person ... you play the scissors paper stone... you win... you go on... you lose... you go back... and the thing funny abt this is... you got to prepare ppl to sit on the first seat of movement for your team... so.. you prevent opponents to get there... ONLY one person of each team can be on the chairs... fun... and very butt wetting... a rule though... everyone must get wet...
Station 7: Dodgeball!! ( Waist-Down)
Same thing... though there is 5 spongeballs... and you got to hit waist down... haha... your team in the area... and opponent on boundary ready to strike... haha
Station 8 : Dog and bone...
Using only 10 players on your side... the game ic was to call a no. ( you gotta no. urself 1-10 ) Then... you hve to get a soap tht is in the middle... when your no. is called... when you hold the soap you r vulnerable... cos... ppl can touch you... they touch you, you r out...
Station 9: ( Something end up we did not do) Fishing Sweets...
We gotta run though a maze ( just like a little obstacle ) and stick our heads in a pail of cornstarch water mixture to fish a sweet... return to your starting and drop the sweet... end up... we did not do...
A wash up was followed and then... dinnner... bolongese ( sp here) spagetthi and vege and a fish roll
Before we had a campfire ( which we thought it was scheduled) we had a drizzle... then like.. dampened spirits... after all... no campfire... but then... we just cheered the hall... and... the rain just stopped
We then had a campfire... and performances from our PL ( Peer Leaders) and dances... i mean like... music was played... and we just go up and dance... wow... it was good ... self intiative though... you can go up... ( though student council was not very happy... cos they scared we get too close to the fire...) and... ' Let's get it Started' ( our mass dance song ) was played in the end... with OGLs and Student council going up to dance... wnted to join in though... ( i remembered all the steps)
Well... sorta like short right... very very exciting day.. Div was not around... well sub talks starting again tomolo... and... lectures are coming up...
